Job Overview

QUALIFICATIONS:

Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and prefers the experience of at least one (1) year as a Life Skills Instructor with knowledge of all aspects of programmatic assessment, implementation, and evaluation. Must have Nebraska Certification to administer medications and be willing to complete the medication training offered by the Provider for re-certification. Must be able to perform all aspects of work setting duties efficiently and be self-motivated in performing job duties. Must have a driver's license, valid in the State of Nebraska, a good driving record, and the ability to be insured by the Provider's Insurance Carrier.

ABOUT THE POSITION / JOB FUNCTIONS:

The Job Coach will provide and oversee Supported/Customized Employment training in the community and supervision of assigned individuals served and document activities within the guidelines of Nebraska Health and Human Services. You will be responsible for helping to provide a safe and pleasant environment. The Job Coach will administer medication and treatments as required. Duties also include participation as a member of the Interdisciplinary Team, assessing the individual's developmental training needs, and designing, implementing, and evaluating the programs to meet these identified needs for each person to whom the staff is assigned. The Job Coach must appropriately deal with emergencies and notify their immediate supervisor of such events. They must also ensure that all documentation is complete to the standards set by Provider and state regulation and attend all meetings within the workday.

HOURS OF DUTY:

Generally, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm

Federal wage and hour guidelines will be followed.
